A summer full of laughter in Iranian cinemas: Box office results

Last week's box office figures indicate a strong preference among Iranian moviegoers for comedy films showcased on the local theater screens.

Karim Amini's hilarious comedy film 'Fossil', which has achieved record-breaking sales success, continues to dominate the box office this week. Additionally, 'Lawless City', another comedy film by the same director, secured the second spot on the list.  

Just one week into its screening, 'Coconut 2' (Nargil 2), a children's film directed by Davoud Atyabi, has already sold 37,010 tickets, securing the third position on the list.

The fourth spot on the box office list was claimed by the social feature 'Motherless', directed by Morteza Fatemi.
